-- The Ayatollah Mar’ashi Najafi Library was established with the objective of helping to perpetuate the Islamic Culture, a Tehran University scholar said.
Speaking to IQNA, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Ali Mahdavirad also regarded the library as unique among Islamic World’s libraries, given its manuscripts and other treasures.
He said the most important thing the late Grand Ayatollah Mar’ashi Najafi did for the Islamic culture was founding the library.
Referring to the late Ayatollah Mar’ashi Najafi’s works, he regarded the book Ihghagh-ul-Hagh as an outstanding work featuring the virtues and merits of Imam Ali (AS) and his descendants. “In the past 30-40 years, the 38-volume book by Ayatollah Mar’ashi Najafi has been a source of reference for all those who have written about Imam Ali’s (AS) virtues.”
The late source of emulation wrote the book Ihghagh-ul-Hagh based on a book by Nurullah Shushtari and has references to Sunni sources.
