Programs for Commemorating Imam Khomeini’s Demise Anniversary Announced

The university section of the committee for commemorating Imam Khomeini’s (RA) 22nd demise anniversary announced its programs.
The committee said its programs during the Imam Khomeini commemoration week would include poetry reading sessions, a conference on Imam Khomeini’s practical and moral Seerah, seminars on Imam Khomeini’s views about women, a photo exhibition titled “Awakening”, a competition featuring Imam Khomeini’s works and a ceremony to honor selected university scholars and professors.
On the 30th of May, a few days before the passing away anniversary of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s founder, a number of the country’s university scholars and students will attend the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (RA) to renew allegiance with the late Imam’s aspirations.
The committee also announced the names of the week’s days as follows: “Imam, Epic, and Women’s Dignity”, “Imam, Science Production, and Free Thinking of Academicians”, “Imam and View of the Future”, “Imam, Spirituality and Academicians’ Expectations”, “Imam, Pioneer of Awakening Movement”, “Imam and Iranian-Islamic Pattern of Progress”, and “Imam, Islamic University and Unity between Seminary and University.”
The cultural and students deputy of the Ministry of Health, the University Jihad and the University of Applied Science and Technology will also cooperate in organizing the programs.
