Competition Features Imam Khomeini’s (RA) Ideas about Martyrdom
It was organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in Lebanon in cooperation with the Iranian-Palestinian Friendship Society, Lebanon branch, the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) reported.
500 young Palestinians residing in the Burj al Barajina refugee camp in Beirut took part in the contest.
They answered questions on the ideas and views of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran about martyrs and martyrdom in Islam.
Winners of the contest were given awards by the Iranian cultural center.
At the awarding ceremony, a number of speeches were delivered by different Palestinian figures including Khaled Abdul Majid, secretary general of the Palestinian Popular Front.
