Quran Memorization Competition in Thailand

TEHRAN (IQNA) - The Embassy of Qatar in Thailand held a Quran memorization competition on Monday as part of the world's largest Halal Food Festival activities.

Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, Jabor bin Ali Al Dosari, praised the organizer’s efforts in coming out with the contest aimed at motivating and encouraging young Muslims to memorize and recite the holy Quran and study the Hadith.

The ambassador presented cash and other kinds of prizes to the winners of the memorization and recitation competition.
