According to Al-Youm website, the final stage of the annual competition was held with the participation of 19 Quran reciters in three different age groups of teenagers, youths and adults.
In the first group, Hussein Na’eem Al Sheikh Ahmad from Awamiyah, Saudi Arabia, and Jasim Muhammad Salman from Bahrain respectively won the first and the second ranks.
The two winners in the youths category were Abdullah Muhammad Al-Bana from Bahrain and Ali Hussein Al-Safar from Qatif.
Zeyd Sulaiman Muhammad from Kuwait and Jalal Al-Alwiat from Qatif came first and second in the third group.
The 16th edition of the Quran recitation competition was organized under the supervision of the Holy Quran Center of Safa Charity Association at Kawthar Grand mosque of Safwa city in Saudi Arabia.
Religious and cultural figures from Qatif, Al-Ahsa, Bahrain and Kuwait were present at the Quranic event, which concluded on April 27.
