Quran Contest Organized by Astan of Imam Ali (AS) Holy Shrine in Iraq

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The second stage of the third edition of a national Quran competition in Iraq has been organized by the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Ali (AS) holy shrine in Najaf.

 

According to imamali.net, Hassan Al’Ameri, an organizer of the competition, said that the first stage was held with 45 participants 15 of whom were selected to compete in the second stage.

Kareem Jabr Al-Zubaidi in Waqf and Ibtida, Husnayn Al-Hulw in Lahn, Reza Nasruddin Al-Mousawi in Sowt and Rafi’ Al-‘Ameri in Tajweed are members of the panel of arbiters.

The Holy Quran Center of the Astan holds different Quranic programs during the holy month of Ramadan every year.

Quran reading sessions and conferences and forums on religious and Quranic issues are held among the activities of the center during the month.
