Abdul Azim Hassani Holy Shrine to Host Imam Ali Dar-ol-Quran Center’s Competition Finals

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The final round of a nationwide Quran competition organized by Iran’s Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran Center will be held at the holy shrine of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassani (AS) in Rey, south of Tehran.

The final stage in the 16th edition of the competition will kick off on January 24 and run for three days in morning and afternoon sessions.

The Sheikh Kulaini Hall of the mausoleum will host the contests in the women section while those in the men section will be held at Sheikh Saduq Hall.

In each section, the participants have been divided into two age groups of up to 18 years and above 18 years old.  

The contenders will compete in several categories, including memorization of the Quran (at various levels), recitation, and Tarteel.

Top winners will be announced and awarded at the closing ceremony, which is slated for Friday, January 27.

The Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran Center annually organizes the contest to promote learning the Quran and identify Quranic talents.

The preliminary stage of the Quranic event is held at the city and provincial levels and the top contenders make it to the semifinal and then final rounds.
