In a press conference in Gaza, the association’s officials urged Islamic and Arab countries to provide spiritual and financial support for Palestine, Safa news agency reported.
They noted that Palestinians have been facing an escalation of crimes by Zionist regime forces and illegal settlers.
They cited recent attacks on mosques, desecration of the Quran and killing of Palestinian civilians.
Wael al-Zard, a member of the association, said the settlers, with the support of Zionist forces and the Tel Aviv regime’s far-right cabinet, keep raiding cities in the West Bank such as Jenin, Nablus and Ramallah.
In order to impose their settlement building in the region, the Zionists detain Palestinians, destroy their properties and set their homes on fire, he said.
He underlined that it is incumbent upon Muslims all over the world to help Palestine anyway they can, including with money and weapons or through decisive political stances.
Al-Zard also reiterated the need for Arab countries’ rulers to announce an end to normalization of ties with the occupation regime.
