Competing in different categories, they showcased their Quranic talents and skills to impress the panel of judges.
The competition kicked off in Kuwait City on Wednesday with the participation of 121 Quran reciters and memorizers from different countries.
The contenders compete in five categories featuring memorization of the Holy Quran, recitation, and Tajweed at different levels.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is being represented by Amin Abdi in Quran recitation, Milad Asheghi in memorization of the entire Quran for adults, and Abolfazl Mirabi in memorization of entre Quran for children.
The international event, which is being held under the patronage of Kuwait’s Emir Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, will run through November 15.
