The video, shared by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Muslim civil rights and advocacy group, shows a man asking the woman, “How would you like to have your head beheaded?"
The woman, who lives in Virginia, was on her way to a protest in late October, wearing a Kufiya, a traditional Palestinian scarf, and a shirt with the Palestinian flag on it, CAIR said, KTVL reported on Sunday.
She also alleged that the man flashed a gun at her, but that was not captured on the video.
She reported the incident to the police immediately, but no arrests have been made so far.

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) said in a statement that its police department was aware of the incident and conducting an investigation.
On Friday, WMATA police released images of the suspect and asked for the public's help in identifying him.
The woman, who did not want to be named, said she felt her concern was not being taken seriously by the authorities.
CAIR condemned the incident as a serious threat to her life and the life of her friends, and called for a swift and thorough response from the police.
The incident also reflects a rise in bias incidents across the US since the outbreak of war between Israel and Hamas on Oct. 7.
CAIR reported a 216% increase in complaints to its U.S. chapters since the start of the war in Gaza.
