
In remarks delivered on Tuesday during the credential-presenting ceremony for the new UAE ambassador to Iran, Pezeshkian highlighted the role he said Muslim nations can play in promoting regional stability.
He stressed that Islamic countries, through coordinated and brotherly ties, could help advance peace, economic growth and lasting security.
“We expect the Islamic Ummah to replace any form of discord and conflict with a pact of brotherhood,” he said. “Muslim governments can achieve this important goal through sincere dialogue and comprehensive engagement across different fields.”
Pezeshkian said many challenges in the Islamic world could be resolved through dialogue, mutual understanding and adherence to what he called divine teachings and the guidance of the Prophet (PBUH).

He added that governments have a responsibility to create conditions for economic development, scientific progress and social advancement.
The president expressed hope that the new envoy, Khalid Abdullah Belhoul, would help deepen cooperation between Tehran and Abu Dhabi in economic, political and cultural areas.
The ambassador said the UAE fully supports the principles outlined by Pezeshkian for strengthening regional ties.
He added that Abu Dhabi is committed to expanding bilateral cooperation with Iran, especially in the economic sector, in a way that would satisfy both countries’ leaders and lead to sustainable, mutually beneficial relations.
