Arsonist Arrested After Setting Fire to Gradacac Mosque in Bosnia

BELGRADE (IQNA) – A suspect was arrested on Monday for allegedly setting fire to a mosque in Gradacac, a town near the city of Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The arson attack took place on Sunday at the Hussein Mosque in Gradacac, causing extensive damage to the building, Anadolu Agency reported.

No one was injured or killed in the incident.

The mayor of Gradacac, Edis Dervisagic, expressed his shock and anger over the incident and said that the perpetrator should face justice.

He also pledged to repair the mosque and reopen it for worship as soon as possible.
