Hamas said in a statement that the Israeli forces' actions were "a blatant Zionist crime" and "an act that can only be carried out by mercenaries and terrorist militias devoid of all values."
Hamas urged "all human rights organizations and humanitarian institutions to intervene" and stop the Israeli regime's treatment of Palestinian civilians.
Social media users shared images of dozens of Palestinian men in their underwear being rounded up by Israeli soldiers on Thursday.
Among those arrested and searched was Diaa al-Kahlout, a Palestinian journalist working for Alaraby Aljadeed. The Israeli military did not comment on the incident.

The incident occurred as the regime resumed its military offensive against the Gaza Strip on Dec. 1, after a weeklong humanitarian pause with Hamas.
The regime has been bombing and shelling the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, killing at least 17,177 Palestinians and injuring more than 46,000 others, according to Palestinian sources.
