On the second day, the event was highlighted by the participation of Ahmad Abolqassemi, who delivered a recitation of the Holy Quran.
Seyyed Ruhollah Hosseini, Iran’s cultural attaché in Kabul, also visited the inaugural national Quran exhibition in Afghanistan.
He emphasized the shared linguistic, historical, cultural, social, and racial ties between Iran and Afghanistan. He noted that the exhibition showcased one of the most significant commonalities between the two nations - the Holy Quran.
The exhibition was marked by a strong presence of Iranian Quranic groups and reciters, reflecting the close ties between Iran and Afghanistan.
This gathering is seen as a promising start to a new era, where the Quran’s spiritual influence serves as a robust divine link between Iran and Afghanistan, Hosseini said.
He hoped that this Quran exhibition would pave the way for future exhibitions across various provinces in Afghanistan.
Abolqassemi is also known for his role as a judge on the popular Quranic TV show “Mahfel” that aired on Iran’s national TV during the fasting month of Ramadan.
