The Benchmark of Governance Festival aims to honor Martyr Raisi’s relentless and selfless service to the Iranian people. This initiative is spearheaded by by the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA), in collaboration with the cultural department of Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR), and the International Quran News Agency (IQNA).
Students who wish to contribute to this festival can share their insights on Shahid Raisi’s services by submitting text, images, videos, and infographics.
The festival will focus on two main themes: the traits of the martyred president and the expectations for a future president.
The festival will particularly highlight Martyr Raisi’s achievements in several areas:
Economic reforms: Evaluating actions taken to overhaul the financial and banking system, enhance trade and investment, bolster the private sector, and reduce oil dependency.
Industry and Technology Development: Reviewing progress in expanding downstream industries, promoting domestic production, and supporting knowledge-based enterprises.
Agriculture and Water Resources: Examining initiatives aimed at advancing agriculture, livestock, and water management.
Health Sector Expansion in Underprivileged Areas: Analyzing programs designed to improve healthcare in less developed regions.
Security and Independence: Assessing efforts to fortify defense and security infrastructures.
Anti-Corruption Measures: Investigating transparency in government operations and judicial system enhancements.
Clergy-People Relations: Exploring the connection between the clergy community and the public.
The upcoming president will be evaluated on several key criteria:

Popularity: Consideration of public opinion and needs, engaging with citizens in policymaking and policy execution.
Optimism in Adversity: Inspiring hope, building trust in the political and economic systems, and offering clear, actionable plans to foster societal optimism.
Active, Informed and Committed to the Islamic Revolution’s Principles: The importance of electing an active, productive, knowledgeable individual who believes in the Islamic Revolution’s principles to advance the country’s goals.
Election Ethics: Adherence to ethical conduct, avoiding defamation and negative campaigning during elections.
Competition for Service: Approaching elections as a commitment to serve rather than a quest for power.
The festival aims to enhance students’ political awareness, encourage active electoral participation, strengthen revolutionary and justice-seeking spirits among students, and provide a forum for discussing significant political and social issues.
Submissions for the festival are open until the day of the 14th presidential election on June 28. Judging will commence on June 30 with results announced on July 3.
