IQNA – Special shades equipped with misting systems are being installed in different locations across the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) to provide more comfort to pilgrims amid the rising temperatures.

With the onset of the hot summer season and an increase in the number of pilgrims to the holy shrine, authorities have implemented several measures to ensure the well-being of visitors, including installation of shades along various paths.

One of the recently-launched shades measures 60 meters in length, 4 meters in width, and 3 meters in height, and is equipped with a misting system to keep pilgrims cool and comfortable in the heat.

Plans are also in place to build another shade structure, which will be 250 meters long, 4 meters wide, and 3 meters high, and will feature a misting system.
