Iran to Send Memorizer to Dubai Int’l Quran Contest for Women

IQNA – Memorizer of the entire Quran Zahra Ansari will represent Iran in the 8th edition of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak international Quran competition for women.

The competition is annually held in Dubai with the participation of women from various countries.

The Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) organizes the international Quranic event.

This edition of the competition is likely to take place in September.

The DIHQA officials sent an invitation to the Iranian Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, asking the country to send a memorizer to the contest.

The Organization’s Quranic Affairs Center and the Committee for Inviting and Dispatching Qaris and Memorizers selected Ansari as the country’s representative in the international competition.

Ansari ended runner-up in the latest edition of Iran’s National Quran Competition.

She has also won the top title in the 37th edition of the country’s Quran competition for university students.
