Silence on Israeli Genocide in Gaza to Jeopardize Int’l Peace, Coexistence: IUMS
Sheikh Ali Muhammad Al-Salabi said the silence and inaction threaten not only stability in regional countries but also international peace and coexistence, Arabi21 reported.
He said the people of the Gaza Strip have been facing massacres for ten months now, adding that the world’s “wise people” must make earnest efforts to stop the war and implement justice.
The people of Palestine are facing a true genocide taking place before the eyes of the world people, he deplored.
All religions and faiths reject murder of people and regard those who kill others as criminals, he stated, underlining that it is time for the world’s wise to take serious action to put an end to the bloodshed and the brutal war waged by Zionist occupiers against the defenseless people of Palestine.
The Israeli regime, flouting a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire, has faced international condemnation amid its continued brutal offensive on Gaza since October 7, 2023.
Nearly 39,600 Palestinians have since been killed, mostly women and children, and nearly 91,400 injured, according to local health authorities.
