The Quranic Sciences Assembly, affiliated to the Astan of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine, has established the Quranic stations on the 28th day of the lunar Hijri month of Safar, according to al-Kafeel website.

The day, which falls on Monday, September 2, marks the demise anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan (AS).

Sayyid Ahmed al-Zamili, an official with the Astan’s Quran institute, said more than 30 Quran experts are present at the Quran stations to help the pilgrims to the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) correct their mistakes in recitation of small Surahs of the Quran.

They also answer the pilgrims’ questions on Quranic, religious and ideological issues, he noted.
