The event has been organized by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance with the collaboration of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.

This year's competition began in seven provinces and two cities, featuring 270 contestants in the preliminary rounds.

Participants competed in four categories: memorizing the entire Holy Quran, memorizing 20 Juzes, memorizing 10 Juzes, and Holy Quran recitation and Tajweed.

The final rounds commenced on Tuesday, with 26 contestants advancing to this stage as judges evaluated participants in morning and evening sessions at the Imam Sarakhsi Mosque in Bishkek.
