Speaking at the World Quran Symposium 2024 in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, he highlighted the Quran's timeless principles that transcend cultural and temporal boundaries, Bernama reported.
The Quran offers not just spiritual enlightenment but also timeless principles guiding towards ethical conduct, justice, compassion, and continuous striving for excellence in all spheres of life, Fadillah stated. He urged leaders to draw inspiration from Quranic teachings to guide their actions and decisions.
Fadillah also linked the concept of Malaysia MADANI, introduced by the government, to Quranic and Sunnah principles. “By integrating these Quranic teachings into organizational management practices, leaders can cultivate environments that promote ethical conduct, inclusive decision-making, innovation, and community engagement,” he said.

He stressed that ethical conduct, a core Quranic teaching, includes upholding integrity, honesty, and transparency in governance. “Justice is one of the main tenets of the Quran, which instructs us to ‘stand firm for justice, as witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives (4:135),’” Fadillah noted.
Fadillah called for the integration of Quranic teachings into governance practices, policies, and personal lives. “By doing so, we can uphold the noble values enshrined in our faith and fulfill our duty to lead our nation towards a brighter and more prosperous future,” he concluded.
