Ayatollah Khamenei Names Faith ‘Asymmetric’ Weapon of Resistance against Enemies

IQNA – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described faith as a weapon that resistance front uses against its enemies.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made the statement while meeting a host of senior leaders of the Hamas resistance movement in Tehran on Saturday.

“The Almighty God has granted you and the people of Gaza dignity and victory, making Gaza a manifestation of the noble verse that says, ‘How often has a small group overcome a large group by the will and permission of God,’ (Surah Baqarah, verse 249)” he added.

“You have triumphed over the Zionist regime, and in reality, over the United States, and by God’s grace, you did not allow them to achieve any of their objectives,” he said.

“The outcome of all these hardships and sacrifices has ultimately been the victory of truth over falsehood, and the people of Gaza have become a model for all those who are committed to the path of resistance,” stressed the Leader.

Expressing appreciation for the Hamas negotiators, he described the achievements of the recent agreement as significant. “Today, it is the duty of the entire Islamic world and all supporters of the resistance to assist the people of Gaza in alleviating their suffering and hardships.” 

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the necessity of planning for cultural initiatives and continuing current media efforts alongside military activities and the reconstruction of Gaza. “The resistance forces and Hamas have performed exceptionally well in their media and publicity efforts, and this approach must continue.” 

He regarded faith as the primary factor and the “asymmetric weapon” of the resistance front against the enemy. “It is through this faith that the Islamic Republic and the resistance front do not feel any weakness in the face of their enemies.”

“The issue of defending Palestine and supporting the Palestinian people is unquestionable in the minds of the Iranian people,” he stressed.

“For us, the issue of Palestine is a fundamental one, and the victory of Palestine is a definite matter,” said Ayatollah Khamenei.   

“Ultimately, the final victory will belong to the people of Palestine. Events and fluctuations should not cause doubt; instead, one must move forward with the power of faith and hope, relying on divine assistance.” 

By God’s grace, the day will come when all of you, with utmost pride, will have resolved the issue of al-Quds for the Islamic world—and that day will certainly come.”
