IQNA – The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement has called for people to boycott Arab television networks that are accused of supporting the Zionist regime.

A number of Arab TV networks

In a post on X, the movement said that amid the resistance against the colonialist and domination project, it has become an urgent necessity to implement a boycott against Arab media outlets that back the Israeli regime, Arabi21 website reported.

It came after the MBC TV of Saudi Arabia broadcast an insulting report about the leaders of the Hamas and Hezbollah resistance movements recently martyred by the Zionist regime.

On Sunday, a Saudi media regulatory official said an investigation has been launched and MBC officials have been questioned over the issue.

On Saturday, Iraqis held a rally against the network and set its office in Baghdad on fire.

Hamas also condemned the move, calling on MBC to remove the report from its social media pages and apologize to people who have been offended.
