In an article for IQNA, Samir al-Saad slammed some Arab world media’s conformity with the Zionists and wrote that liberation from media and political dependence requires a cultural and ideological revolution and support for the resistance forces.
“Our battle is not only on the battle front, but also on the front of consciousness and awareness,” he said.
Some Arab media outlets act in a way that shows they are out of touch with the main issues of the Muslim Ummah and some of them even seem to be in cahoots with the Zionist enemy, he stated.
Condemning the move by an Arabic TV network to call the leaders and martyrs of resistance “terrorist”, he said such moves are an indication that there are secret hands at the helm of some media outlets, he added.
Al-Saad stressed that these heroes not only defended their land but also carried the flag of dignity of the Arab nation and stood up against an enemy that is after destroying Arab identity and sanctities.

He said the resistance in the region has managed to defeat the most powerful manifestations of terrorism and oppression, from Daesh (ISIL or ISIS) to the savage Zionists.
However, he deplored, some Arab media are trying to tarnish the image of these heroes while remaining silent on the brutal atrocities of the Zionist regime against people in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.
Most Arab media have turned into tools for normalization and justification of the Israeli regime’s crimes and undermine values and principles on which the Arab and Islamic Ummah have been founded, he said.
“When will we witness free Arab media that will observe justice regarding the heroes of the Arab nation and stand against the Zionists’ crimes?” he wondered.
Al-Saad said though that the truth will not remain obscure and the voice of freedom will not be silent.

The resistance will remain the symbol of dignity and honor, he underlined.
A few days ago, the MBC network broadcast a report full of insults and accusations against the martyred commanders and leaders of the Islamic resistance, drawing condemnation from across the region.
