Iranian Cultural Envoy Stresses Development of Quranic Cooperation with Pakistan

IQNA – The head of Iran’s Culture House in Pakistan’s Rawalpindi emphasized the importance of developing Quranic ties between the two countries.

The head of Iran’s Culture House in Pakistan’s Rawalpindi visited the Razawiya Zia al-Ulum religious school in Rawalpindi.

 

Mehdi Taheri paid a visit to the Razawiya Zia al-Ulum religious school in Rawalpindi. 

In a meeting with the director of the school, Hafiz Mohamed Ishaq Ziaei, Taheri described the Holy Quran as the pivot of unity among Muslims.

“The Quran is the word of God and we all have faith this divine word and this can be a bond between us,” he said.  

He also stressed expanding cooperation in field of Quranic education.

Taheri expressed the Culture House’s readiness to organize joint cultural programs with the school.

He said the two sides can hold joint courses in such fields as Quran memorization, Tajweed, and recitation.

Ziaei, for his part, welcomed cooperation with Iran in religious and cultural fields.

He hailed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s progress in Quranic fields and the success of Iranian Quran memorizers and reciters at the international level, expressing willingness to benefit from Iran’s valuable experiences in these fields.
