Nasser Huwazawi, head of the Iranian Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization’s office in the Arab country said the flight will take Umrah pilgrims from Iran’s southern city of Shiraz to the Saudi city of Taif.

He said it will remove some of the problems that pilgrims are currently facing.

He was speaking at a meeting of Iranian Hajj and pilgrimage officials in Mecca.

The official added that the Umrah Headquarters should be prepared to offer services to Iranian pilgrims who arrive in Taif to go to Mecca.

Also speaking at the meeting was Gholam Reza Rezaei, the head of Iran’s Umrah Headquarters in Mecca, who stressed efforts to facilitate the conditions to offer more services to the pilgrims.
