The recitations are part of a new program that is shared on the official social media platforms of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and Egypt’s Ministry of Religious Endowments.
This effort, as per the report, seeks to harness modern technology to reach a global audience with the melodious voices of celebrated Egyptian qaris.

The recordings include the voices of legendary Quran reciters such as Mahmoud Khalil al-Hussary, Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, Mustafa Ismail, and Mahmoud Ali al-Banna. These reciters, renowned for their unique styles, have played a pivotal role in establishing Egypt’s global reputation in Quranic recitation.
The council is said to have preserved the rich legacy of Quranic recitation through recordings of prominent Egyptian reciters in the past years.
