Ayatollah Khamenei Receives Family of Iraqi Martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis
The Leader received them on Sunday ahead of the anniversary of al-Muhandis’ martyrdom.
During the meeting, the daughter of the martyr asked Ayatollah Khamenei about the duties of the youth in the current conditions of the region.

Al-Muhandis, who was deputy commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), was assassinated along with then commander of the IRGC Quds Force Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and their companions five years ago.
They were martyred in a strike by American drones near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
