IQNA – The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced an online platform for iftar service providers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, requiring them to update their information ahead of Ramadan.

According to the authority, service providers must complete the data update to continue their operations, sign agreements with approved catering companies, and adhere to the established iftar service guidelines.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that a list of approved companies will be available after the data update process, enabling finalization of contracts and issuance of electronic permits.

In a similar initiative last month, the authority launched a portal for charitable organizations and individuals to apply for iftar meal services inside the Grand Mosque in Mecca during Ramadan.
