Tehran Meeting Discusses Coordinating Hajj Transportation Operations

IQNA – A meeting for coordination of the 2025 Hajj transportation operations was held in Tehran on Tuesday.

Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadeq and Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Ali Reza Bayat were among those present at the meeting.

In this meeting, issues related to the provision and equipping of the necessary air transport fleet for sending Iranian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj rituals were discussed.

It was decided that the Civil Aviation Organization and Iran Air would carry out the necessary coordination in this regard.

It was also decided that in order to obtain permits for the landing and takeoff of Iranian airplanes and the dispatch and reception of Iranian pilgrims, as well as other airport operations, the necessary correspondence with the Saudi Arabian aviation organization should be carried out.

More than 85,000 Iranian pilgrims performed Hajj this year.
