Pakistani Scholar Says Quran Key to Boost Islamic Unity

IQNA – A Pakistani scholar named the Holy Quran as the key to resolve differences and enhance unity among Muslim nations.

 

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Minhaj University Lahore, stressed the significance of reinforcing unity within the Islamic world, addressing divisions, and embracing diversity to build resilience against challenges.

Speaking to Bahrain News Agency (BNA) on Thursday on the sidelines of the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference, themed "One Nation, One Shared Destiny", Qadri highlighted such conferences' role in promoting shared values among Muslim communities and enhancing ties between various Islamic sects.

He emphasized the necessity of resolving differences through the Holy Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) while encouraging mutual understanding and collaboration.

Qadri noted that diversity within the Islamic world should be seen as a source of strength and unity, stressing that the collective approach should prioritize cohesion and cooperation.

He also highlighted the efforts of Minhaj-ul-Quran International in promoting Islamic unity, advocating for moderation, and encouraging both interfaith and intra-faith dialogue. The organization operates in 90 countries, aiming to support these goals and enhance solidarity within the Islamic community, he added.
