Organized in collaboration with the Sharjah Foundation for Quran and Sunnah and sponsored by the Sharjah Charity International, the event is scheduled for 15th Ramadan 1446 AH (March 2025).
Open to participants up to 18 years old, the competition includes categories for the memorization of 10, 5, and 2 juzes of the Quran, alongside special sections for the club’s youth members, Sharjah24 news website reported on Saturday.
Awards will be presented to the best reciter and a distinguished religious figure from Dibba Al Hisn. The deadline for registration is Saturday, March 8, 2025.
Mohammed Ahmed Mutawa, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Sports Club, emphasized the role of such competitions in fostering Quranic learning among youth and enhancing community engagement.

He also highlighted Ramadan’s spiritual significance, noting that the event offers participants an opportunity to deepen their connection with their faith.
Mutawa expressed appreciation for Sharjah Charity International, acknowledging its support for initiatives that celebrate and promote the Holy Quran.
