IQNA – The Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, UAE, has concluded its third annual summer program, drawing over a thousand participants and hundreds of thousands of online viewers.

Held from July 7 to 31 under the theme “Towards an Authentic Quranic Culture,” the program focused on skill development and engagement with Quranic sciences.

According to the Academy, more than 1,050 individuals took part in person, while live broadcasts of the sessions reached over 293,000 viewers on social media platforms, Emirates News Agency reported on Friday.

During the closing ceremony, Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, Secretary-General of the Academy, said the initiative aligns with efforts to strengthen the scientific and cognitive capabilities of the community.

“The activities conducted are aligned with the academy’s vision to enhance the scientific and cognitive skills of community members,” he added.

The program included a range of workshops and training sessions. These covered topics such as Quranic calligraphy, Tajweed (rules of proper recitation), personal engagement with Quranic texts, and planning for future learning.

In his concluding remarks, Al Hosani acknowledged the contributions of partners and honored standout participants.

The ceremony was attended by several officials, including renowned reciter Hazza Al Belushi.
