Stocked with essential food data-x-items such as milk, cereals, biscuits, fruits, vegetables, and tinned goods, the fridge functions as a food bank, offering free access to nutritious food.
Faheem Ahmed, one of the organizers, emphasized the inclusive nature of the initiative, stating: "Here at the Keighley Community Fridge, we welcome people of all faiths."
He noted that the project is designed to support struggling families, reduce food waste by partnering with supermarkets and businesses, and contribute to environmental sustainability, the Telegraph and Argus reported on Saturday.

Ahmed described it as a reflection of community spirit, adding, "Our mission is to spread peace and feed people."
The community fridge operates on Wednesdays from 5 PM to 7 PM and Sundays from 11 AM to 1 PM.
This initiative follows a similar project launched at JTI Southfield Square Masjid in Bradford in recent months, aimed at helping those in need.
