IQNA – Introducing and explaining the Quranic thoughts of the two leaders of the Islamic Revolution, as well as the Quranic logic of resistance, are prioritized in the special agenda of the international section of this year’s edition of the Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition.

Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mostafa Hosseini Neyshabouri, head of the international section of the Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition.

This is according to Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mostafa Hosseini Neyshabouri, head of the international section.

In an interview with IQNA, he said the international section will start operating on the first day of the exhibition.

The international section of the exhibition will operate for one week, based on certain considerations and requirements, he noted, adding that, therefore, this section will commence on March 6 and conclude after one week.

This year, due to spatial limitations at the venue (the Imam Khomeini Mosalla), “we are unable to invite more than 15 countries to this event,” he said.

“We have made an effort to invite countries that are proficient in the fields of Quranic arts and Quranic thought. A significant portion of this work has already been accomplished, and we are currently in the process of identifying capacities and inviting countries. Arrangements for the arrival of international guests at the exhibition are underway, and foreign guests will present Quranic works related to publishing, art, and technical aspects.”

Hojat-ol-Islam Hosseini Neyshabouri further said, “In the international section, we have focused on diversity. We will have an art gallery showcasing artistic domains related to the Holy Quran, including unique designs, calligraphy, and painting. In addition to the gallery, we will also highlight the capacities and activities of Quranic institutions abroad. For this reason, specialized meetings will be held to enhance mutual understanding between domestic and foreign institutions, and if necessary, to take steps toward communication, collaboration, and synergy within the exhibition framework.

“We will also introduce those who have been guided by the Quran, their connection to the Quran, its translations, and the verses of divine revelation. Additionally, we will showcase translations of the Holy Book in various languages and the most prominent Quranic works from the international arena during this edition of the exhibition.”

The director of the international section went on to say that another special initiative is to establish direct contact between domestic and international capacities, and to practically practice a form of Quranic diplomacy within the international section of the exhibition.

“This year, we will hold the third Quranic forum in the international section of the exhibition, where we will examine the objectives of establishing a Quranic parliament for the Muslim world, which has been proposed by Iran. Through discussion and examination of this proposal, we aim to reach consensus and unity centered around the Quran.

“We have made it a priority to specifically introduce and elucidate the Quranic thoughts of the two leaders of the revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA) and Ayatollah Khamenei, within the international section of the exhibition. We will work to present the Quranic character of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the world, especially to the Islamic community, more than ever before. This is essential because the ideas that led to the establishment and continuation of the revolution are rooted in the Quranic teachings of the two leaders.

“Additionally, this year in the international section, we will pay special attention to elucidating the Quranic logic of resistance. Through various international meetings and discussions, we will explore the different dimensions of this logic, as it is highly needed today. Serious scientific and specialized discussions on the topic of resistance from the perspective of the Quran will be conducted in the international section of the Quran exhibition this year.”
