The press conference for the 32nd International Holy Quran Exhibition was held on March 3 at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance’s Quran and Etrat Department.
The event was attended by Hojat-ol-Islam Hamidreza Erbab-Soleimani, the exhibition’s director and Quran and Etrat Deputy of Iran's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and Asghar Amirnia, secretary of the exhibition’s planning council.
"The Quran is a book of guidance, not merely stories. While it contains narratives, its primary purpose is to guide the pious,” Erbab-Soleimani said. “It is a source of light, blessing, clarity, proof, and distinction.”
He also highlighted the connection between Ramadan and the Quran. “Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was revealed. This adds to the month’s significance, and even the grandeur of Laylat al-Qadr is linked to the Quran’s revelation.”
The Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance is organizing the exhibition in honor of Ramadan. “Our main goal is to showcase the country’s Quranic achievements and capabilities,” Erbab-Soleimani stated.

Responding to a question about technological advancements, Erbab-Soleimani confirmed that modern tools, including artificial intelligence and augmented reality, will be integrated into the exhibition. “A dedicated AI section has been planned,” he stated.
He also announced daily unveilings of new Quranic works, including a Hindi translation of the Quran and a Quran interpretation authored by Ayatollah Javadi Amoli.
Asghar Amirnia, the planning council secretary, emphasized the exhibition’s broad appeal. “We have designed sections catering to various interests, including international, artistic, family, children, and modesty and hijab,” he said.
Regarding public services, Amirnia noted that arrangements have been made with the municipality to provide simple iftar meals for visitors, similar to previous years.
The exhibition’s official poster features Quranic verse 97 from Surah An-Nahl: “Whoever acts righteously, [whether] male or female, should he be faithful, We shall revive him with a good life and pay them their reward by the best of what they used to do.”
The exhibition’s opening ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday at 3:30 PM, local time.
