The event, celebrating the holy month of Ramadan, commenced on Tuesday evening, March 11, in the presence of local officials and with a large gathering of pilgrims.
Speaking at the event, Ala’ al-Mousawi, Deputy Chairman of the Quran Scientific Assembly, said: "For the third consecutive year, Bain al-Haramayn is hosting Quranic programs dedicated to children."
Al-Mousawi explained that the program is aimed at deepening children's and teenagers' understanding of Quranic teachings and familiarizing them with the Quran and the traditions of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).

“This program will run for 10 days, drawing large numbers of young participants and pilgrims. A variety of activities are planned to engage attendees,” he added.
Mohannad al-Mayali, Director of the Quran Institute in Najaf and the program’s overseer, added details about the event. “The activities include Quranic competitions featuring questions on the Quran, the life of the Prophet (PBUH), Islamic jurisprudence, beliefs, and ethics. There is also a drawing section where participants can create artwork related to Ahl al-Bayt (AS), as well as advisory lectures and a focus on memorizing the sermons and sayings of Imam Ali from Nahjul Balagha,” he noted.
The program is held nightly from 8:30 PM to midnight.
