Israeli Threat Endangering Entire World, Not Just Palestine: Official
"Today, the threat posed by the Zionist regime is not limited to Palestine; it is a danger to the entire world,” Head of the Intifada and Quds Day Headquarters Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif said on Wednesday.
“When a regime can kill over 20,000 children in a defenseless area like Gaza, it is just as capable of committing crimes elsewhere in the world,” he added.
"The Zionist regime had a strategy to make the Palestinian issue fade into oblivion, but International Quds Day has challenged that plan,” he said, adding, “This is precisely why the regime harbors such intense anger toward the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
Initiated by Iran, International Quds Day is held annually on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan across the world.

Sharif noted that this year’s rallies across Iran saw a 15% hike in the number of participants.
“Fortunately, we are now witnessing anti-Zionist demonstrations in many countries around the world, reflecting a growing global awareness of the threat this criminal regime represents," he added.
"This regime has realized that it has failed in the recent war and gained nothing. That is why it chose to violate the ceasefire," he noted, referring to the resumption of the Israeli genocidal war against the people of Gaza since March 18.

According to the latest figures, Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has killed more than 50,800 people, mostly women and children in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The occupation regime has also blocked the entry of food, water, and medicine to the area since resuming its war in mid-March.
