IQNA – There has never been an opportunity like today for religious scholars to introduce Islam internationally, the secretary general of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly said.

Hojat-ol-Islam Reza Ramezani

Hojat-ol-Islam Reza Ramezani made the remark in an address to a conference in Qom on Wednesday, held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Seminary of Qom and its founder Grand Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Abdulkarim Haeri Yazdi (RA).

Today, Islam as a global political system has been able to stand up to the system of arrogance and domination, he stated, adding that the opportunity for the Islamic seminaries and religious scholars to promote Islam globally has not existed at any time in history.

We should introduce Islam to the world with an international literature and know that we are definitely victorious, he said.

Today, the West is facing a crisis in thinking, morality and practice in the political and economic spheres, Hojat-ol-Islam Ramezani said, adding that Muslims’ position in the world is growing stronger day by day.

He also pointed out the emphasis by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the issue of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) that shapes the Muslim Ummah and the importance of civilization-building Islam.
