Oman’s Grand Mufti Hails Pakistan’s Support for Iran
The official account of Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalili published a post on the platform X, in which he expressed his deep gratitude to the Pakistani government for its “brotherly and courageous solidarity” with Iran in defending its rights and the rights of Muslims in the occupied Palestinian territories, al-Rawya reported.
He sincerely thanked and appreciated both countries and prayed to Almighty God for their victory.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar announced in a statement on Sunday that the Pakistani Senate had unanimously passed a resolution in support of Iran following the Israeli regime’s aggressive attacks.
He affirmed Pakistan’s support for Iran’s right to self-defense and condemned the Zionist regime for its violations of international law.
He said Israel’s attacks on Iran are a clear violation of the fundamental principles of the United Nations and all international norms, posing a serious threat to regional and global peace and security.
“Over the years, Israel has been responsible for the deaths of countless Muslims worldwide, particularly in occupied Palestine,” he noted, adding that over the past two years, the world and the Islamic Ummah have witnessed the killing of children and civilians on an unimaginable scale.
“The inaction of Muslims worldwide in the face of this genocide is particularly troubling, as it has now led to Israel’s attacks on other Muslim countries, including Iran.”

The statement added that Pakistan’s Senate unanimously condemned the Zionist regime and its heinous crimes against the Islamic Ummah, especially against the brotherly nations of Palestine and Iran and stands “with our Iranian brothers and sisters and supports their right to defend themselves against this aggression”.
