The copies are planned to be distributed in Morocco and across Africa, according to Haspress website.

The agreement was signed on Tuesday, June 16, between the Alawi Organization for the Care of the Blind in Morocco and the Mohammed VI Foundation for Publishing the Holy Quran.

It aims to produce 3,000 Braille Qurans for visually impaired individuals in Africa’s Muslim countries, enabling them to engage directly and independently with the Holy Quran.

A joint statement by the two organizations noted that the agreement, signed in the presence of officials from both entities, is part of ongoing efforts to ensure the visually-impaired have access to religious knowledge, promote values of social inclusion, and provide equal opportunities for all.
