Regional Countries Host Rallies in Solidarity with Iran

IQNA – Demonstrations were held in several countries in the region on Friday to voice solidarity with Iran in the face of the Zionist regime’s aggression.

In Yemen, a massive rally was held in Saada, where people chanted slogans condemning the Israeli regime’s aggression on the Islamic Republic of Iran and its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

Baghdad, Karbala, and Kufa in Iraq were also scenes of rallies in which the demonstrators described Israel and the US as enemies of Muslim nations.

They said the Zionist regime has trampled upon all human values by targeting hospitals and educational centers in Iran.

The demonstrators also set the flags of the Israeli regime on fire.

Similar rallies took place in several cities in Pakistan, including Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, on Friday.

People from different walks of life took to the streets in these cities to condemn the Israeli attacks on Iran.

Carrying the flags of Pakistan and Iran, they chanted slogans against Israel and the US and voiced support for Iran’s retaliatory strikes on the Zionist regime.

In Lebanon, too there was a rally held in the capital Beirut to denounce the Israeli attacks on Iran and Gaza.

Also, Lebanese and Palestinian scholars organized a gathering in Tyre, Lebanon, to condemn the Israeli aggression and US President Donald Trump’s threats against Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

Speakers at the gathering said Iran is facing the most heinous type of Zionist-American terrorism that does not recognize any human, political or media immunity and violates all international norms and laws.

They stressed the need for the Muslim Ummah to stand against the Zionist-American project that has targeted Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Syria, Iraq and Yemen.

The Israeli regime waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on June 13, carrying out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites that resulted in the martyrdom of scores of top military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary citizens.

The Iranian military forces started counterattacks immediately afterwards. They Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force has carried out 17 waves of retaliatory missile strikes against the Zionist regime as of June 20 as part of Operation True Promise 3.
