606 Iranians Martyred in 12 Days of Israeli Aggression: Health Minister
Since the beginning of this imposed war, 5,332 wounded individuals received medical treatment at the medical centers of the Health Ministry, he said on Tuesday.
The past 24 hours have seen the most brutal attacks and aggressions by the Zionist regime since the beginning of this war, during which 1,032 people have been injured and 107 have been martyred as of this morning, he noted.
Israel’s cowardly and imposed war against Iran has resulted in the martyrdom of 606 people so far, he stated, adding that 95 percent of the martyrs died under the rubble, while only five percent of the injured who were taken to hospitals died.
Referring to the sacrifices of healthcare workers on the front lines of this war, the Health Minister said, “Yesterday, due to the Zionist regime’s brutal attacks on the areas surrounding Khatam Al-Anbiya Hospital in Tehran, we were forced to evacuate the Shahid Motahari Burn Hospital, which is located near this hospital, and transfer all patients to another hospital.”

He went on to say that “during these two weeks of war, we were forced to evacuate three hospitals at risk to save the lives of patients.
“According to the experiences of the eight-year (Iraqi-imposed) war and the coronavirus pandemic, three priority triage circles were planned to address the situation of the war wounded, which fortunately was carried out in a satisfactory manner with the good management of the heads of the universities of medical sciences and health centers of the country and all colleagues of the health staff.”
