Sharjah Quran Radio Records Two Complete Quran Recitations
The project was carried out by the Channel, affiliated with the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority. It features complete Quran recitations by Ali Salah Omar from Bahrain and Sheikh Ezzeddin Al-Awami from the UAE, according to Emirati media outlets.
The recordings, produced over a year, involved technical teams and Quran experts to ensure adherence to the rules of Tajweed (recitation) and high production quality.
The initiative is part of Sharjah Quran Radio's ongoing efforts to deliver precise Quranic recitations in response to audience requests from within and outside the UAE. It also fulfills a long-held goal for the featured reciters, giving them a lasting audio presence on air.
Ali Salah Omar is the Imam of Al-Fateh Mosque in Bahrain and is known for his command of multiple recitation methods and a distinctive voice.

Sheikh Ezzeddin Al-Awami serves as the Imam and preacher at Al-Ulfah Mosque in the Khan district of Sharjah and has gained recognition in recent years, particularly during Tarawih prayers, for his vocal quality.
The two reciters were selected through a public poll on social media.
The recordings were reviewed by a specialized committee led by Sheikh Taher Al-Asyouti. Reciters in the UAE are chosen through a formal evaluation process involving several religious and academic institutions, ensuring compliance with strict standards.
