Registration Begins for UAE’s Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Quran Contest

IQNA – The organizing committee of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) announced the start of registration for the 26th edition of the Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Holy Quran competition in the United Arab Emirates.

The competition is one of the most prestigious Quran competitions in the UAE that is held annually by the DIHQA organizing committee.

Registration for the 2025 edition of the competition will continue until the end of September through the official DIHQA website at ‘Shq.quran.gov.ae’.

Registration is possible in person or through introduction by reputable Quranic institutions in the UAE.

The preliminary stage of this competition will begin in October 2025, and Emirati citizens and non-Emirati residents can register and participate.

Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the DIHQA, described the Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Holy Quran competition as a Quranic beacon in the UAE that helps strengthen the government’s position in serving the Quran and identifying the best Quran memorizers.

He added that the contest has educational and social dimensions and strengthens generations’ connection with the Quran and the noble Quranic values.

The competition is scheduled to be held in the categories of memorizing the entire Quran, memorizing three Juzes (parts), five Juzes, ten Juzes, twenty Juzes, and the 30th Juz.

Participants must not have previously reached the final stage in the requested field.
