‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ Shattered Zionist Regime, Iranian Official Says
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hassan Akhtari made the remark during a press conference in Tehran on Tuesday, marking the second anniversary of the operation.
The Palestinian resistance forces carried out the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation on October 7, 2023, in response to decades of Israeli atrocities against the people of Palestine and their sanctities.
Hojat-ol-Islam Akhtari hailed the operation and said that contrary to the efforts of ill-wishers to weaken the resistance movement, the results of this holy battle showed that the Israeli regime is in disarray and is in an internal crisis.
He further referred to the current conditions in Palestine, and said, “Today, the Palestinian people are facing a very difficult situation. Despite the efforts of some individuals and movements who do not have much faith and commitment to the resistance and who try to downplay the Al-Aqsa Flood movement, it must be said that this movement has created a major turning point and a profound impact in terms of weakening and shattering of the occupying regime.”
Now the Zionist regime is facing internal crises and severe disputes from various directions, he added.

“The criminal regime of America, with utmost impudence and shamelessness, is standing completely by the side of this occupying regime, and some European countries are also fully supporting it so that they may be able to save this Zionist terrorist complex. But with the firm faith we have, we are certain that they will not be able to do it. Their future is what God has promised: destruction and decline.”
He emphasized that as stated in the noble verses of the Quran, God will mobilize His powerful forces to confront the criminals, “and we believe in this divine promise.”
