IQNA – A Quran memorization competition will take place during the second edition of the Libyan Prosecutor General’s International Book Fair in Tripoli later this month.

Quran Memorization Contest to Be Held Alongside Libya’s International Book Fair

 

The organizing committee of the fair announced that the contest will be held on the sidelines of the event, which runs from October 15 to 25, 2025 at the Tripoli International Exhibition Center.

The competition aims to encourage young men and women to engage with the Holy Quran and to promote its memorization.

Participants of various age groups will compete in three categories: memorizing half of the Quran, the final quarter, and the last part (juz).

The Prosecutor General’s International Book Fair is organized by the Libyan Office of Criminal Research and Training, under the authority of the Prosecutor General’s Office. This year’s edition brings together 425 domestic and international institutions and publishers showcasing their works.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the fair includes diverse programs designed to enhance visitors’ legal awareness and general knowledge. It also provides a platform for local and global publishers to present their latest releases in legal, literary, and scientific fields.
