Amal al-Dalal said in a press conference Tuesday that the contest will be held with the slogan “The Generous and the Righteous” and under the supervision of Sheikh Mashaal Ahmed, the Emir of Kuwait, Al-Siasa reported.
He said the deadline for participating in this competition will be October 30 and the Awqaf Department has provided a competitive environment for participants at the Grand Mosque in Kuwait City.
Al-Dalal added that the final stage is scheduled to be held on November 23, and the closing ceremony and announcement of the final results and distribution of awards will take place on December 17.
He explained that the competition includes several categories that will attract different age groups and segments of society, including people with special needs and prisoners in correctional centers.
Al-Dalal called on Kuwaiti citizens to actively participate in the competition, saying that various prizes have been planned for the categories of Quran memorization and recitation.

He noted that the previous round of the competition was held with the participation of 54 groups from both the public and private sectors, and 280 male and female participants won top positions.
Al-Dalal put the total number of top winners in the different rounds of the competition at 4,465, and the total number of participants at 46,586.
