Karbala Shrine Decorated with Flowers Ahead of Shaaban Festivities

IQNA – The mausoleum of Imam Hussein (AS) in Karbala, Iraq, has been decorated with flowers as the festivities of the lunar Hijri month of Sha’aban approach.

As the auspicious occasion approach, Karbala is hosting thousands of pilgrims from different parts of Iraq and other countries who come to the city to celebrate the Eids.

Every year, Shia Muslims and others in different parts of the world celebrate the birth anniversaries of Imam Hussein (AS), Hazrat Abbas (AS) and Imam Sajjad (AS) on the 3rd, 4th and 5th days of Sha’aban.
