Palestine Quran Memorizers Convene

The first gathering of Palestine’s Quran memorizers was held in Arra region near Haifa on Friday.

Titled “Quran, View, and Action”, the convention was attended by tens of Quran memorizers, both men and women, from different parts of Palestine, Alwad.net website reported.
It was organized by Hara Quran memorization institute. Sheikh Muhammad Jawamis, an official with the institute, in address to the gathering talked about its objectives and mission.
Another speaker was Sheikh Zaed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement of Palestine who talked about the lofty status of those who learn the Holy Quran by heart.
Recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and playing religious songs were among other programs in the gathering.
It was announced at the convention that a national Quran memorization competition will be held in Palestine in the near future.
